I’m Emma. I’m a journalist, digital content producer and absolutely awful at writing my own bio. For the past six years, I’ve worked as a freelance content creator and have produced articles, videos and digital assets for a wide range of pop culture websites and commercial clients.
I’ve also worked as social media assistant and reviewer for rock and indie music magazines. So, in other words, I like the internet and I’m pretty good at it. I’ll spare you all the details. But, if you did want to find out more about what I do, you can find me on LinkedIn. You can also drop me an email if you’re interested in discussing a project or commissioning me.
ABOUT MY BLOG
Now for the fun stuff. Also known as the stuff that you’re actually here for. In 2018, I launched a brand new blog. In fact, you’re visiting it right now. Hi. Hello! I know what you’re thinking. The launch was a case of ‘New Year, New Me!’ fever, right? Not quite.
In 2010, I ran a lifestyle blog called Beauty and Rags. The website was a place where students could go for style and beauty hacks if they were living on a tight budget. After closing the site and having a three-year break to focus on my undergrad degree, I wanted to recreate a place where I could natter about the things that interest me.
Think of this blog as a place that’s home to the three Bs. There’s content about books, beauty and bands – that’s pretty much it. If you don’t like any of those topics, you should probably click off now. But, if you do, welcome! You can view my latest blog posts by clicking here.
Alternatively, if you’re a brand or publishing house and like to get in touch with me about anything blog related, please email me using this form. For less formal enquires, you can also contact me on the socials listed to the left. Enjoy!
